My inspiration is my family. I am a wife and a mommy to two girls. I love beautiful photography, knowing that it will be treasured for a lifetime. I was asked to describe myself in one sentence….well here it is.

” I am a child of God, wife, mother, photographer, business woman, Chicago Cub’s fan by marriage, camper, and lover of Michigan sunsets.

I get asked often how I got into photography. So if you are interested, here is my story….

I moved to Kalamazoo for my job in Physical Therapy in 1999. I married my husband in 2002 and we were blessed with our first daughter four years later. When I was pregnant with her, I took a basic photography class at the Kalamazoo Art Institute and just fell in love with it. Never dreaming it would turn into a whole new career for me. Three years later, my little photography business grew out of our home and I opened my first studio space in 2009 and still going!  I tell people that photography and my career in photography was a gift God gave me, a gift I didn’t even ask for….but He knew I would love it. 💕 I absolutely love what I do, and am so blessed to be able to serve others with this gift. It truly has been the best job ever for me.
