I love maternity photography almost as much as I love newborn photography! It is such a special time in a woman’s life and should be celebrated and remembered.
Beautiful photography will allow you to look back at this stage and you will remember the “good”, even if you do not always feel it while you are pregnant. You will see that you truly looked beautiful and were “glowing” as everyone told you that you were!
Up to 60 minutes. Unlimited outfits as time allows. This session can be outdoors and include family. Includes up to 40 gorgeous edited digital images.

If more than 40 images are presented for you to chose, you have the option to purchase more individually or upgrade to the full gallery offered.
Up to two outfits. This 30-35 minute session is offered at the studio or at my outside wooded property in the Plainwell, MI. This session also includes 12 professionally edited digital images, with the option to purchase more if you would like.

Yes! I have a couple “go to” options. However, I am happy to chat with you about what you are specifically looking for and help you find outfits that will be a perfect fit for you and your maternity session.
I do not offer on site hair and make up services. However, I am happy to offer a suggestion of where to try to book an appointment.
I highly recommend you have your hair and make up done as it makes a huge difference in front of the camera. The biggest complaint I hear from women after the session is done is the following “I wish I wore a little more make up.” When it is done right, you will look even more amazing in your photographs!
I like to photograph moms at the beginning of their third trimester. So when you are 28-32 weeks is best. You will have a cute baby belly and you will not be too uncomfortable and feeling “swollen” like some do near the end of their pregnancy.
We have a couple favorite spots that are great for outside pictures. If you would like to do your maternity session on the beach of Lake Michigan, we can do that. Just know we only offer those sessions at 8am and at sunset time due to the harsh lighting on the beach during the day.
I will start editing the images as soon as I can. My turn around time is usually one week. If I am in my busy season, I will keep you posted if it may take a little more time.
My editing workflow consists of softening skin, removing any face blemishes and hair wisps. If you would like any additional editing such as removal of tattoos, tan lines, bra straps, hair across the face and eyes, slimming of arms and legs and so on….I can do that. There is a $10/image fee. Feel free to ask for details if needed.
