I love maternity photography almost as much as I love newborn photography! It is such a special time in a woman’s life and should be celebrated and remembered.

Beautiful photography will allow you to look back at this stage and you will remember the “good”, even if you do not always feel it while you are pregnant. You will see that you truly looked beautiful and were “glowing” as everyone told you that you were!

Please note the “full maternity” session fee includes the shooting time, talent and use of props and accessories.
Full maternity session includes $25 credit towards a digital file collection.
Digital files and custom print products are purchased above and beyond the session fee.

Maternity Sessions

Full Maternity Session

$175 for up to 60 minutes. Unlimited outfits as time allows. This session can be outdoors and include family. Session Fee includes a $25 credit towards any Digital File Collection. Digital File Collections start at $625. Purchased images are professionally edited.

Petite "digital" Maternity Session (Instudio & Gregersen Photography Property)

Up to two outfits. This session is offered at the studio or at my outside wooded property in the Plainwell, MI. This session also includes 12 professionally edited digital images, with the option to purchase more if you would like.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have dresses I can wear for the session?

Yes! I have a couple “go to” options. However, I am happy to chat with you about what you are specifically looking for and help you find outfits that will be a perfect fit for you and your maternity session.

Do you oﬀer hair and makeup services?

I do not offer on site hair and make up services. However, I am happy to offer a suggestion of where to try to book an appointment.

We highly recommend you have your hair and make up done as it makes a huge difference in front of the camera. The biggest complaint we hear from women after the session is done is the following “I wish I wore more make up.” When it is done right, and we guarantee it will be, you will look even more amazing in your photographs!

When should I book my maternity session?

I like to photograph moms at the beginning of their third trimester. So when you are 28-32 weeks is best. You will have a cute baby belly and you will not be too uncomfortable and feeling “swollen” like some do near the end of their pregnancy.

Where do you do the outside sessions?

We have a couple favorite spots that are great for outside pictures. If you would like to do your maternity session on the beach of Lake Michigan, we can do that. Just know we only oﬀer those sessions at 8am and at sunset time due to the harsh lighting on the beach during the day.

What happens after the session is over?

I will start editing the images and getting them ready for you to see. You will receive an online gallery to preview the images to then chose your favorites to purchase. If you would like to schedule a time to meet with me and go through the images and place an order in person, I am happy to accommodate that. Most moms love investing in their favorite digital images and then an album. This is such a special time in your life we want to make sure you can invest in the products you want whether that be digital images or print products. I happily offer both options.
