I was asked to describe myself in one sentence….well here it is.

I get asked often how I got into photography. So if you are interested, here is my story….

I moved to Kalamazoo for my job in Physical Therapy in 1999. I married my husband in 2002 and we were blessed with our first daughter four years later. When I was pregnant with her, I took a basic photography class at the Kalamazoo Art Institute and just fell in love with it. Never dreaming it would turn into a whole new career for me. Three years later, my little photography business grew out of our home and I opened my first retail studio space in downtown Kalamazoo. I was there for seven years and moved to our current location in 2016. I tell people that photography and my career in photography was a gift God gave me, a gift I didn’t even ask for….but He knew I would love it. 💕 I love what I do, and am so blessed to be able to serve others with this gift. It truly is the best job ever for me.
