One of the things I love about being a Photographer in the Kalamazoo area is the different scenery we have that is so diverse. You can get city scenery and go 2 miles down the road and get a more woodsy feel! It is wonderful for many different reasons! When someone contacts me about a senior session, I always ask what kind of style they’re looking for, and then I decide where the location of the session will be. Most times I get fairly easy going kids, but once in a while I will get a kiddo that likes being creative, which then I can open up my options a bit more. I get some clients that like to use props, such as their motorcycle or vehicle. It can definitely be fun. I have done photos for kids with their pets; horses, cats, dogs and even chickens! Most of the clients I get for senior photos are kids that I have photographed for years with their families. I feel very honored when they ask for me to do their senior photos.
Grace is a senior this year at Plainwell High School. She is one incredibly sweet young lady and I enjoyed working with her 🙂
Plainwell is my hometown and where my kids attend school. I love getting the opportunity to photograph my daughters friends and classmates.
