Mother’s Day Gift Ideas during a pandemic

Mother’s Day is just a week away, and I have been thinking of some creative ways to send our mothers and grandmothers special gifts. Since I am in the business of photography and we are in a pandemic, I thought I would offer some different creative options for you all to consider as Mother’s Day gift ideas….

1…Silhouette of your child

I so wish I had these timeless silhouettes of my daughters when they were younger. There is something so classic about a silhouette and I love how it shoes off their unique profiles at the ages they are right now.

If you would like to have a silhouette made of your child or a loved one. It’s super easy on your part. Here is what I would need from you…

1. Take a picture of your child in front of a white wall from the elbows up.
2. Make sure the hair is not in front of the shoulders on either side, push back behind the shoulders for a clean profile of the face.
3. I recommend no smile.
4. Hair looks much better if it is brushed and smooth to prevent fly aways.
5. Email the picture to melissa@gregersenphotography.com
6. Payment of $20/ image paid through VENMO. I will provide my VENMO name when you email me your image(s).
7. If you would like the child’s name and year. Just let me know the name, and if you would like the modern font or the classic plain font, no extra cost.
8. Turn around time is 24 hours. I will email you the printable digital file of the silhouette. You have the option to print as you wish, or you are welcome to order prints or canvas art from our recommended online professional printing lab.
